This purchase agreement is subject to the common principles of Norwegian law. The agreement is only binding once ACE has registered the payment. The payment will be to Association for Competition Economics. Association for Competition Economics is responsible for credit card transactions through this website. Any questions can be directed to dagny.kristiansen@nhh.no.

The object of the agreement
The page sells membership to the Association of Competition  Economics that disseminates knowledge on competition economics.

Once the transaction is confirmed, a receipt will be issued. At that point in time you are member of ACE for the current calendar year. Your receipt is proof of membership.

You can pay online with Visa Card, Mastercard, Diners, American Express or Maestro. Any communication between you and ACE is encrypted. This means that no-one else can see your credit card information.

Your credit card information is sent directly to the DIBS and ACE does not retain the credit card information.

The payment is approved by DIBS. If in doubt regarding the security of the internet transaction, please consult  Forbrukerombudet.no

A 14 day right of regret pertains to the transaction. If the purchase of the object of the agreement is regretted, the total amount of the purchase will be transferred back to the buyer's account.

Policy regarding personal information and GDPR
Once you register for the annual conference (or any other ACE event), you need to provide contact details and these are added to our database. Our database is used to inform our current or past members about the association’s activities. It is not used for any other purpose nor shared with any third party. If you do not wish to be included in our database, you can request at any time that your contact details are removed from our database by sending an email to our secretariat: conference@competitioneconomics.org
