2021 - Annual ACE conference in Barcelona
On the 18th and 19th of November 2021, the ACE (Association of Competition Economics) conference will take place in Barcelona, hosted by Massimo Motta at the Barcelona School of Economics.
The conference will be an in-person event.
The Keynote speech will be presented online by Jean Tirole.

The event will take place at the Ciutadella Campus, Ramon Trias Fargas, 25 - 27 in Barcelona.

Covid safety measures:

In order to attend the conference you need to have one of the following:
• A vaccination certificate which proves that you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, at least three weeks prior to attendance at the conference.
• A negative PCR test result not more than 72 hours before the conference begins.
Due to unexpectedly high number of registrations, the maximum number of people that can participate to ACE Barcelona 2021 under COVID-safe conditions has been reached. Unfortunately for this reason and to ensure a safe environment for the participants, registrations are now closed. Please contact us for any urgents matters related to these circumstances.
We expect the participants to comply with the safety measures and organizational rules in place at the time of the event.
Future Conferences
ACE is always looking for potential proposals to host its annual conference and aims to decide upon the venue at the annual conference at least one year in advance. Successful bids will need to demonstrate that they have suitable arrangements (including sponsorship) in place by then. Typically ACE is hosted in universities and receives support from the economics departments, and/or local sponsors such as the competition authorities.
